Shabbat Kiddush in Tel Aviv

At the North Central Synagogue, Ben Yehuda 126 Tel Aviv, the kiddush on Shabbat morning is more than just a meal, it’s the highlight of the week.

Every Shabbat, after uplifting and spirited tefillot, nearly 300 people gather around a generous buffet to relax, connect, and celebrate with good food and plenty of lechaims. It’s where community members longtime Tel Aviv locals, new olim, and visiting guests meet, sparking conversations, forming friendships, and strengthening the sense of belonging that defines our community.

We also host a dedicated children’s Kiddush, right after a lively kids’ service (10:45AM). With schnitzel, pasta, kugel, veggies, and all the treats they love, it offers our youngest members a joyful and meaningful Shabbat experience of their own.
