Tel- Aviv Yom Kippur Outdoor Services with 126

Every year, The North Central (Orthodox) Synagogue located at Ben Yehuda 126 St. Tel-Aviv,  hosts two Yom Kippur services – for both the Kol Nidrei, as well as the Neila prayers. In collaboration with the municipality of Tel Aviv, we host the prayers outside on the Kikar Atarim Promenade, overlooking the beautiful beach below. Both Kol Nidrei, at the beginning of Yom Kippur, as well as Neila, at the close of the day, are filled with incredible unity, spirituality, and song.

Thousands of people from all walks of life in Israeli society come join: religious and secular, right wing and left, Israeli born and new immigrants, all coming together to jointly sanctify the holiness of the day.  Imagine the roar of the Nation of Israel, all coming together, singing the traditional Yom Kippur prayers and pouring their hearts out in unison. As the sun over the beautiful mediterranean slowly sets, and the day turns to night, the close of the Neila is marked by the blowing of the shofar. Everyone follows by joining together in singing Hatikva and dancing, embodying hope and positivity for the new year to come. Many in the 126 Ben Yehuda community, as well as others in attendance, view this event as one of their annual highlights, and the perfect way to jointly bring in the new year together.

Both services are open to the public with seats on a first come first served basis with plenty of space to stand if you're not able to get a seat. We also provide booklets for Kol Nidrey and Neila.

Please note that all Yom Kippur services (Kol Nidrey/Maariv, Shachrit/Mussaf, Mincha, Neila and Maariv) Will be also taking place in our synagogue (Ben Yehuda 126) as well. If you would like to reserve a seat in the sanctuary you can do so here
